A wise man once told me that Millionaires are no smarter than you and me, they just know how to make money.  Did you know that 2% of the people in the world own 50% of the world’s wealth? What is it that 98% of us are missing? They know how to create wealth and are not afraid to take risks. While most people look at many opportunities as “too good to be true”, those 2% have taken that chance. Chances are if they were to loose their money, they would quickly find a way to get it back whereas most people take a long time to get back on their feet after a financial setback.

Most wealthy people have total control of their assets, they are not relying on a boss to hand them their next paycheck. They own properties, companies, stocks, etc and  the amount of revenue they generate is contingent on the size of the asset and how long it will take to generate a profit. This type of asset usually only generate 1.5% to 15% profit per year and require a lot of your time as well as micro-managing others.

In today’s struggling economy where there are so many Americans out of work it is hard to believe that Chinese plants are actually facing a labor shortage! Even unskilled factory workers are being offered signing bonuses in China and the wages for all factory workers have increased by as much as 20 percent. But the question is how will this affect the global economy? New projects like railway and highway expansions in China’s interior are using up a large majority of their work force. This coupled with the $600 billion economic stimulus allocated for Beijing for 2009-2010 providing more jobs for millions of migrant workers outside of China resulted in the current labor shortage. Many Chinese manufacturers are failing to meet their quotas because they do not have enough manpower to make their products on schedule. Many plants are considering halting production and raising their prices.
